Acoustic Release Testing

DLM’s brand new Acoustic Release Hook undergoes its final testing before product launch. The video demonstrates the hook being released at 10 Tonne of applied load  after being previously proof loaded to a huge 20 Tonne. The Acoustic Release was developed in conjunction with Acoustic specialists Applied Acoustic Engineering Limited, using DLM’s expertise in mechanical design, experience in the subsea cable laying industry and product design ability.

TL-2.0 Telemetry Tensile Link Load Cell

DLM are pleased to launch the first in a series of videos demonstrating the uses and functionality of our products. First up is our leading TL-2.0 Telemetry Tensile Link which has gone from strength to strength since its introduction in late 2012.

Latest developments with this Load Cell is the ability to data log on the TW-2.0-T display using just a micro USB memory card inserted into the base. Logs are saved as .CSV files so can be downloaded to any PC and opened in Microsoft Excel without the need for specialist software.

DLM’s Wireless Tensile Link the TL-2.0, featured in the recently aired BBC2 program “The Crane Gang”. The episode which aired on 6/10/13 and which is currently available on BBC iPlayer, features one of our hugely popular 35t TL-2.0 Tensile Links being used to weigh a Racing Yacht by RORC in Southampton Docks.
