  • CNC Miller
    Competitive Salary (DOE)

    Due to continued growth and recent investment within the company, we are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to Program/set and operate our newly purchased CNC Mill. 

    This is a workshop-based role, where the successful applicant will operate on a full-time schedule, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Full training will be provided on load cells and industry specific products. ** A competitive salary will be offered based on your experience. 

     

    We’d love you to apply if you have the following qualifications and skills:

     

    –  A certified apprenticeship in CNC milling or substantial experience with CNC Mill operations.

    –  Proficiency in setting up a HAAS VM3 CNC Milling machine to exact specifications.

    –  Expertise in programming, setting, and running CNC Milling machines.

    –  Experience in developing and modifying CNC programs using G-code and CAM software. 

    –  Skill in selecting, installing, and calibrating the correct cutting tools for jobs.

    –  Ability to monitor the machining process to ensure the production of parts that meet quality standards and specifications.

    –  Problem-solving skills to identify and rectify issues within the CNC milling process.

    –  Comfortable performing routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their optimal performance. 

    –  Collaboration with team members, including engineers and quality control, to meet production objectives.

    –  Strict adherence to safety protocols for a secure work environment.

    –  Able to work independently and as part of a team. 

    –  Time-management proficiency, ensuring delivery dates / internal milestones are met. 

    –  A blend of independence and teamwork, with a knack for managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

  • CNC Turner (Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator)

    Are you tired of running on outdated machinery, feeling like you’re stuck in the past while the world moves forward?

     

    Are you still programming by punching keys rather than using CADCAM?

     

    It’s time to step into the future with DLM! We’re on the lookout for a CNC Lathe Operator who’s currently stuck behind the wheel of an old machine, yearning for a chance to unleash their skills on our BRAND NEW Doosan Puma 3100LM with Fanuc control.

     

    Due to continued growth and recent investment within the company, we are looking for an experienced CNC Turner – Programming/setting and operating the newly purchased CNC Lathe.

     

    We’d love you to apply if you have the following qualifications and skills:

     

    – The successful candidate will come with a recognised apprenticeship or a relevant time-served background.

    – Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce components according to specifications.

    – Ability to program, set and run CNC turning machinery.

    – Develop and modify CNC programs using G-code and CAM software, specifically Fusion360.

    – Excellent knowledge of machining stainless steels, specifically 17-4PH, to ensure the correct feed and speed rates are used.

    – Experience using Fanuc controls

    – Ability to read engineering drawings and understanding of ISO tolerances.

    – Select appropriate cutting tools and ensure their proper installation and calibration.

    – Monitor the machining process to ensure the production of parts that meet quality standards and specifications.

    – Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions in the CNC turning process.

    – Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their optimal performance.

    – Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control staff to achieve production goals.

    – Adhere to safety processes and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

    – Ensuring delivery dates / internal milestones are met set by the Workshop Manager.
