Due to continued growth and recent investment within the company, we are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to programme, set up, and operate our Haas VM-3 CNC mill.
This is a full-time, workshop-based role, Monday to Friday (7:00 am–3:30 pm). Full training will be provided on load cells and industry-specific products. A competitive salary will be offered based on experience.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:
– Will have completed a recognised apprenticeship or gained substantial hands-on experience in a similar role.
– Proven ability to set up and operate a HAAS VM-3 CNC mill to manufacture components to specification.
– Ability to program, set and run CNC Milling machinery.
– Proven capability to develop and modify CNC programs using G-code and CAM software, specifically Fusion 360.
– Able to select appropriate cutting tools and ensure their proper installation and calibration.
– Monitor the machining process to ensure the production of parts that meet quality standards and specifications.
– Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions in the CNC milling process.
– Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their optimal performance.
– Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control staff, to achieve production goals.
– Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
– Ensuring delivery dates / internal milestones are met.
In return, we offer:
– A competitive salary of £36,000 – £38,000 (DOE)
