Working with one of our overseas partners DLM designed and manufactured a Load Monitoring system to monitor the Load applied to a stinger on board a pipe lay barge.
DLM’s expertise in the design and manufacture of Shear Pin Load Cells was put to good use, as these were custom designed to fit inside the rollers within the stinger.
A rugged Deck mounted display showing the combined load was designed suitable for Marine Environments, along with cabling, suitable power suppliesand a slave display with RS232 retransmission for integration with the vessels on board survey suite.
